1.will的過去式。
例：They said it would be fine.聽說天氣會很好。（it will be fine的過去式）
例：I said I would do my best. 我表示過要盡最大的努力。
2.（在陳述語氣中，表示過去将來時，表示無意識的行動或單純将來發生的事或動作，指實際情況，一般用于間接引語中）會；将；

具體用法
回答
在回答是肯定句為“Yes,I’d like to ....”或是“I‘d love to”再拒絕是要說謝謝，表示友好，語氣委婉一些：“I'd love to, but I have to _____(do sth.). Thank you.”或是“No,thanks(thank you)."亦或是“I'dlove to, but I don't have time. Thank you.”
征求意見
在提問，征求意見是用：“Would you like to go to the movie with me ? ” 你想要和我一起去看電影麼？強調的是would like to 不表示“邀請”，而表示“請求”。
