概述
Citadel支持CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, Suse等多種Linux操作系統發行版，其中Ubuntu和Debian已經在包管理器apt-get中将該軟件集成，可以很方便地安裝在使用Ubuntu和Debian的操作系統中，且不會和現有的web服務器程序發生沖突。
安裝方法
執行apt-get install citadel-suite spamassassin amavisd-new安裝軟件包。
生成自認證的SSL證書。
①執行cd /etc/ssl/citadel
②執行openssl req -new -nodes -newkey rsa:4096 -days 365 -keyout citadel.key -out citadel.csr
③執行chmod 600 citadel.key
④執行openssl x509 -req -days 365 -in citadel.csr -signkey citadel.key -out citadel.cer
⑤執行cp -a citadel* /etc/ssl/webcit/
這樣，Citadel郵件服務器系統就安裝完畢了。我們可以通過https的方式登錄網站進行郵件域名、賬号等等功能的管理。
