樂曲背景
關于R.O.D.即ride or die的意思有多種不同的解釋：
1速度于激情的台詞飙車或者死亡（戰鬥或死亡）
2一句俚語 意思為戀人死也要在一起
從歌詞意思可以看出以男女之間感情為主 所以後者更為可靠 而詞曲作者Teddy的女友韓國著名演員韓藝瑟也表示這首歌是Teddy的“告白歌曲”。
韓藝瑟接受了某媒體的采訪。她本人在采訪中透露表示："Teddy想着我的時候會制作歌曲。"
韓藝瑟說道："Teddy為不能單獨說出'為韓藝瑟制作了歌曲'的話而感到可惜。在他制作的歌曲中有一首G-Dragon的《R.O.D》就是想着我而制作出的歌曲之一。"可以算是另類的告白了。[1]
樂曲賞析
dubsteppy的節奏，主唱Lydia Paek的聲音在這首歌曲中充分凸顯，加上強勁的低音和鼓聲，營造出全新的氛圍。歌曲最為突出的部分出現在歌曲3分鐘左右，dubstep漸隐，而GD和Lydia的聲音幾近于acappella
