中文詞源
來自拉丁詞carcer拼寫變體。原指監獄，圍欄，後指組成圍欄的斜栅，形如字母X，因而引申詞義删除。

4.互相抵消(常與out連用)：

5.數學約去(約數)：消去(方程式或賬目兩側的相等部分)：

12和16可以用4來通約。
6.印刷删去，删除(文字等)；擦掉字迹等：

最後一章應當删去。
7.(用郵戳等)蓋銷(郵票等)：
