創作背景
最終幻想XIV的國際服當時正因遊戲的品質問題而飽受非議，遊戲的開發公司史克威爾艾尼克斯也因為遊戲的失敗而瀕臨财務危機。
于是派遣一名新的遊戲制作人：吉田直樹接管了遊戲。
吉田直樹接管遊戲後，開始了對遊戲大刀闊斧的修改。并且主動為遊戲增加了一個末世到來的劇情促使遊戲結束關服，與此同時，新生的最終幻想XIV也經過了兩年時間的秘密籌備，重新與大家見面。
這首歌就是那段末世劇情的配樂，同步匹配的還有一段精美的八分鐘超長CG。
