2016年6月10日晚，克裡斯蒂娜·圭密在佛羅裡達州奧蘭多演唱會後舉行的歌迷見面會上遭遇槍擊不幸身亡。
持槍的男子走到22歲的克裡斯蒂娜·圭密旁邊開火。根據現場目擊者表示兇手至少開了三槍，然後被克裡斯蒂娜·圭密的哥哥抓住，在扭打過程中，兇手開槍自殺。
