歌手簡介
Damien Rice來自愛爾蘭，出生于七十年代早期，繪畫與寫歌是他青年時期的興趣，也因此讓他有了組團的念頭，在"O"的專輯内頁有些插畫便是Damien Rice自己的作品。1997年他組了一個名為 Juniper 的團，前後發行了三張EP，"The World Is Dead" 和 "Weathermen" 這兩首單曲也成為電台熱門歌曲，但因為合約問題無法錄制完整的專輯，于是在1999年離開樂團前往意大利的托斯卡納，并在歐洲流浪了一年後又回到了都柏林，想辦法籌錢錄了一張Demo，寄給了制作人兼電影配樂家的David Arnold。
