演藝經曆
阿蘭·本奈特（Alan Bennett）是一名英國劇作家，出生于英國利茲。在服兵役期間他在英國軍方設立的聯合服務語言學校學習俄語，随後得到了劍橋大學的錄取，但他因希望跟暗戀對象同校而轉而申請牛津大學。從牛津大學曆史系取得一等榮譽畢業後，他留校教授了幾年中世紀史，随後離校開始職業編劇生涯。他曾憑《瘋狂的喬治王》獲奧斯卡最佳改編劇本提名，其他著名的作品包括《曆史系男生》、《貨車裡的女人》等。他于1988年拒絕了不列颠帝國勳章，于1996年拒絕了封爵。
2020年6月23日，擔任編劇電影《新喋喋人生》上映。[2]
2022年9月10日，擔任編劇的電影《哈利路亞》在多倫多電影節上映，并将于2023年3月17日在英國上映。[3]
