人物經曆

1980年9月至1984年6月湖南湘潭大學物理系光學專業本科學習；

1984年7月1995年12月湖南湘潭大學物理系任助教、講師（其間：1987年9月至1990年6月湘潭大學凝聚态物理專業碩士研究生學習）；

1992年3月至1995年3月上海交大物理系凝聚态物理專業博士研究生學習，獲理學博士學位；

1995年7月至1995年12月香港理工大學電子工程系助理研究員；

1996年1月至2005年12月中科院物理所曆任博士後、助理研究員、副研究員、研究員（其間：2001年5月至2003年5月先後在比利時安特衛普大學、瑞典隆德大學從事博士後研究，2003年6月至2004年5月澳大利亞國立大學訪問學者）；

2006年1月至今曆任中山大學物理科學與工程技術學院教授、副院長、研究生院副院長、人才發展辦公室主任、物理學院院長、科學研究院院長、中山大學校長助理、中山大學副校長。

2017年6月，民盟廣東省第十五屆委員會第一次全體會議上，王雪華當選為副主任委員。

2021年8月1日，入選2021年中國科學院院士增選初步候選人名單。

2023年3月，中山大學理學部主任。n

廣東省第十一屆人大常委，中國民主同盟第十二屆、十三屆中央委員會常務委員。

2023年3月，中山大學聘任為理學部主任。

主要成就

多年來主要從事微納光子學及其應用的研究，已在國内外著名學術刊物發表SCI論文80餘篇，其中JCR一類期刊論文13篇：NatureCommunication2篇，Phys.Rev.Lett.7篇，NanoScale4篇。應邀在國際、國内學術會議作特邀報告50多次。

先後主持國家重大、重點、面上及省、部級科研項目10餘項。教育部“長江學者獎勵計劃”特聘教授(2006年)，國家傑出青年基金獲得者(2007年)，國家有突出貢獻政府特殊津貼獲得者(2011年)，國家973計劃（含重大科學研究計劃）項目首席科學家(2009年)，國家重點研發計劃項目首席科學家（2016年）。
