劇情簡介
NBC的2004年最新喜劇劇集.也許是“六人行”後的又一部力作。主要是叙述一個三流演員闖蕩好萊塢的有趣經曆。
揮手作别相伴十載的“Friends”，Joey也告别在紐約成家立業的老友們，來到陽光燦爛的洛杉矶繼續追逐他的明星夢。LA住着他的姐姐Gina，一位火辣性感、容易興奮的美發師，同時也是一位未婚母親，她的天才兒子，20歲Michael，是一位研究火箭科學的研究生，由于無法繼續忍受母親Gina無微不至的照料，Michael搬來與舅舅Joey同住。但Gina仍對兒子放心不下，天天都要來照看寶貝兒子有沒有被花花公子般的Joey所帶壞。缺少書本知識的Joey與不擅長人際交往的Michael正好形成了互補，Michael也在Joey的指點下開始了自己的追女仔計劃。
【看點】Joey的事業和愛情的發展是此劇的最重要的看點之一，也是作為喜歡《六人行》（老友記）的人在Joey續集中最關心的。第一季第10集成為喬伊事業上的重大轉折點：Joey與其侄子Michael的相處；與其姐姐Gina之間互相的扶持；Joey本人不甘平庸和其獨特的“處世哲學”；其代理人波比的指點和鄰居愛麗克斯的重要引薦，都成為Joey在一個大型晚間情景劇集《deep powder》充當一父親角色的鋪墊。Joey的事業從此芝麻開花節節高，而與愛麗克斯之間曲折的愛情之路也就此展開。

幕後故事
電視劇《喬伊》改編自《老友記》中的一個人物角色。
Joey是著名美劇《老友記》(Friends)中的六個主要人物之一，是一個生活在紐約的三流演員，經常出演一些肥皂劇以及話劇等，扮演一些小角色。
電視劇《喬伊》（Joey）就是該角色的延續，繼續講述了《老友記》(Friends)之後Joey自己的生活。
演員介紹
小時候的馬特對表演一點興趣也沒有，可是對摩托車有着極大的熱情。8歲的時候，他得到了他的第一輛摩托車。在參加過多次的業餘比賽後，他開始考慮把賽車作為自己的職業。但是他的媽媽很擔心自己的兒子，極力反對，聽話的馬特想成為職業車手的夢想就止住了。他開始學習做木工，但最後還是決定要成為一個演員。
1985年從牛頓北中學畢業後，他揣着賣貨車換來的3000美金決定到紐約去闖天下。在那裡他開始了演藝生涯，但隻是拍些廣告。直到1987年，Matt已為一些著名品牌拍過了數個廣告，比如可口可樂等，并曾演一個番茄醬廣告得過獎項。馬特正式學習演戲是從1988年開始的。隻用了一年的時間，他就成了電視劇《TV 101》裡的主角之一，也促使他搬到了洛杉矶，并參演了一些電視劇。1994年，馬特拍了他的第一部電影，好事接踵而來，同年，他獲得了《老友記》裡的角色喬伊。
1998年，馬特和模特瑪麗莎·麥克奈特訂婚，終于在2003年5月3日于夏威夷正式完婚。馬特有一條從流浪狗收留所花40美金救出來的狗，叫做“女士”。馬特的愛好包括跳傘，賽車和拍攝風景。因為愛好攝影，過去的10年間，他到過世界的不少地方，包括阿姆斯特丹、瑞士、德國和溫哥華等，美國的城市那就更不用說了。
