劇情簡介
在南極大陸上矗立着一座由各國政府合建，無人能脫逃戒備最森嚴的監獄，專門監禁來自全球最危險的犯人，而少數知道這座監獄存在的人則稱之為"新惡魔島"。當獄中的犯人意外從南極冰原挖出一隻被冰凍的巨型史前巨蟒時，曾當過考古學家的政治犯尤裡告知典獄長，這是空前的考古學突破，典獄長因而打破安全規定向外界告知這項發現。尤裡的舊識，考古學博士羅勃因而搭機前往南極冰原察看這隻前所未見的稀有恐龍。
然而在博士抵達前，這隻巨蟒竟從五千萬年的冬眠中蘇醒，并在監獄中大開殺戒。在這座号稱固若金湯的監獄中，無法脫逃的犯人和獄卒成了這隻史前生物的大餐。
