剧情介绍
戴夫(亚当·桑德勒饰)本来是一个很正常的生意人，至少看上去非常正常。他有着温文尔雅的外表，和漂亮的女朋友琳达(玛丽萨·托梅饰)。但是不幸的是，在一次飞行旅行中，他失去了控制，被认为不能控制自己的情绪，并被遣送去进行“情绪管理”训练。
被逼入绝境的戴夫，只好忍受巴迪的刺激疗法，例如不断的用污言秽语攻击他的女朋友，不断利用戴夫过去的心灵伤疤来刺激他。戴夫感到自己的极限就要到来，他在退缩封闭自己的内心，还是勇敢面对完整的自己两个选择中，犹豫了……
到底巴迪医生与病人戴夫的磨合调整，会是柳暗花明，还是陷入无尽的内心黑洞当中呢？
